On December 22, 2010, FERC issued an eTariff Notice of Technical Conference, which will be held on January 21, 2011. We will be in attendance (at a minimum, Gary will be there). Please stop by and say hello.
The first and third agenda items in the notice relate to the csv file that defines the type of filings that may be made under eTariff. The csv file posted on FERC’s eTariff page has not yet been updated for agenda item #1, but it has been updated for agenda item #3. From a software and processing perspective, the agenda item #3 change is innocuous: it is merely the update of a description.
The second agenda item appears to be the introduction of a data sharing mechanism FERC is adding to its eTariff Viewer. This is not something we were expecting and could prove to be very interesting.
Any time FERC updates the csv files posted on its eTariff page, we will issue a corresponding TariffShark software update. We have already begun work on just such an update (relating to agenda item #3).
Happy New Year!
Can you let me know when the next tariff shark training is scheduled for?
We are working to replace instructor-led training with an online video training series. We don't have a schedule for completion yet as the online video training project has just kicked off.
We would be interested in your feedback on the online video training concept: like, dislike, concerns, etc.
If you have immediate training needs, please reach out to our Support team at 847-252-1611.
